Killing Me Softly
monogram installation

A monogram of my name, TV, is consisted of two hand made pillows and a plexiglass box. It represents myself during the first semester at the college. This semester was marked by early morning lectures, starting 8am. Being a hard thing for me to function that early in the morning, one monogram project drawing turned into this installation.

Two pillows dressed in soft red fabric as an inviting rest much needed at 8am and the plexiglass box sealed keeping the pillows untouchable but on the display as the forbidden fruit when work comes first to rest.
